I'm not 100% but what I've seen posted before is he accepted the nomination therefore complicit in a coup. That's why he was egged on so hard to not just contest and wait it out, but actually announce it. That's a national security threat.
Here's my take with that. We always say ignorance is no excuse for not obeying the law. In this case you'd hope the potential POTUS would have a grasp of the constitution and how it works or maybe you aren't fit for office.
