ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia election officials have announced an audit of presidential election results that will trigger a full hand recount.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said at a news conference Wednesday that his office wants the process to begin by the end of the week and he expects it to take until Nov. 20.
Why so long? GA doesn't even have half Italy's population and we hand count ballots every time, never took more than 10 hours to do a full count.
..no we don't? Or we didn't 2016 anyway (source: worked as a vote counter in Georgia during the general elections 2012 & 2016).
I'm talking about Italy, I've counted votes in Italian elections since 2016
Oh my bad.
Not just counting. Auditing and verification of all ballots.
That explains it, it almost never is needed here, but when it actually is, it can take up to a week.
The mafia is more efficient than Georgia government employees.
