They could not fool an audit. Too much fraud to fix. Best they could hope for is fixing the counts, but that will be exposed in an audit and they know it so I doubt they did that. Their defense will likely be "OH IT WAS JUST A GLOOOOOOTCH SO WE CANT GO TO JAIL".
The only thing they could`ve done is creating ballots that match a fake machine count. If these stand to scrutiny an audit is another question.
