There's enough patriotism to share on our 11-11-11 Day of Peace, the Day the Guns fell silent.
Even though today isn't Decorations Day... My neighbor growing up was one of the few who had German shrapnel in him from the trenches in The Great War(WWI), and Japanese shrapnel in him (as a Marine) from the Pacific Islands in WW2.
To all those front-line combat veterans and troops out there whom have stories which you'll never tell your spouse, kids, or any average soul; from him, I pass onto you prayers of solice if you need it.- Quaker Pede

They should still refer to today as Armistice Day. Veterans Day just doesn't do it.
