I'm inclined to agree but with some exceptions. I used .the mail in ballots because it was the only option. They were deposited in a secure place with camera surveillance 24/7. Also, Republican majority town and county.I took my vote, husband's, son's and daughter's and put them in the locked receptacle. On the envelope of each ballot that was not my own, I filled out the "bearer" information so there would be no question on their legitimacy. Because there was camera security I have no doubt of the safety of the ballots cast. BTW anything less than that is ripe for fraud. Every vote could easily be linked to person so the numbers would be accurate. If the bearer section of the envelope was not filled out, for those ballots not one's own, those votes should be thrown out.
On the front of the envelope was a place where a return address would normally be. If you are depositing someone else's ballot, which I did, it was required that that portion was filled in with my name, names whose ballots they were, and signed by me (the bearer). I felt it was pretty secure because there was 24/7 camera surveillance, so they could match of the numbers of ballots deposited. Since I had to fill out the "bearer" portion, it would be easy to correlate number of depositers with number of ballots.
That is not by accident either. Every mail in ballot should be disqualified

What is the bearer section?
