I live in a liberal bastion city and can vouch. If i ask a co-worker why they think Trump is the devil they will in this order:
1-stare at you like your nuts
2-Say “racist homophobe asshole” FIRST
3-Then, /only/ if you question them further, they will spit some easily debunked talking point.
Debunk the talking point, and you are immediately labeled a Trump supporter or blissfully misinformed and they start to awkwardly change the topic of conversation. Where two seconds prior they were hyped to rant.
These people have turned trump into a hate totem. I think half of them wank themselves to Trump alone at night.
Memes aside, wouldn’t the country want someone who has been exposing the swamp for years?
Why would we realistically elect someone whose going to try and put the status quo back into place?
