I was thinking a little bit and I wonder: just how bad do the Democrats want this presidency after all that's come out?

The basic premise is that the Democrats' top brass knows that the election is cooked. They don't necessarily know precisely as they don't want to incriminate themselves (think of it like: "Hey DNC head-honchos! I know a guy at Dominion Software, he said his brother could do some """consultancy""" that could reallllllly give us the edge in crucial swing states." - "Okay look into it!"). However, they know shit's fucked.

Initially they wanted a clear and decisive win, a clear referendum agains "MAGA" and "America First!" to just breathe a little. Four years without being kept on the edge of their seat by an orange madman with a smartphone who gets up at 4 AM. Then take on a discredited Republican party in 2022 and sweep the Senate and the House.

Right now they have a lot of shit to do in their own party: regressive-progressives like AOC are unhappy as they come to the realization that the votes she pulls are welcome but that they want nothing from her policy-wise. She even threatened to quit politics altogether over this. Anyway, they would have had some time with Sleepy Joe at the wheel and the nation on auto pilot.

This is not an option anymore. The right is fuming. Should Biden sit this out and Trump's legal efforts fail it will be living hell for the Democrats. From Biden's inauguration up to 2022 it will be a complete shit show, a sea of heckling red MAGA-hats wherever he goes. Then in 2022, 71 million Republicans will show up at the polls with fists in their pockets and blow the Democrats out of the water. Eventually even the mainstream media won't be enough to keep up the charade.

If, however, they decide to give it up now and concede they can play the - sadly quite effective - game of "orange man bad" and have a fresh start in 2022 and look for an actually viable candidate for 2024.

What do you guys think is going on in Biden's and the DNC-HQ right now?

Executive branch controls a lot. Judges, tons of agency appointments etc. They can install more swamp creatures and start to bury everything again.

Without the Senate, judges won't come in plenty.

You would think, but with Biden in and the senate possibly down to 52-48 all it takes is 2 RINOS to jump. Remember mcstain and obamacare vote? And althought cocaine mitch has been great on judges, he is still a swamp creature. I dont 100% trust him. Biden means business back to normal and the money spigot is back on. Anyone in office for decades (either side) has been on the take in some way IMO.

Knowledge that massive fraud can be used if they need to win with no downside to them and a demoralized Trump base. Provided they pull this one off.

it's the implications, the left can do a lot of damage in 4 years, perhaps cover up stuff Trump would release in his second term. Pres always go a little HAM in their second term. Ya gotta ask why would they cheat this obviously, they know...

Yeah, but cash in now or gamble for the big bucks in 2024 with a potential presidency + majority in both chambers?

More seats, more power. A stronger base.
