A number of states are allowing late ballots, but I liken it to the new marijuana policies that are going into effect in a lot of states. Just because they have been legalized at the state levels it's still illegal at the federal level. if a federal agent wanted to bust you - they could.
This has an impact at the federal level, so we'll see it dealt with swiftly.
Yeah, but that is a ballot drop off box so it's not by mail, it's considered in person. The mail in ballots also have to be stamped received by USPS by Nov 3, though we know how that goes.
"Personally delivered ballots: Must be delivered by close of polls on November 3, 2020; Mailed ballots: Must be postmarked on or before November 3, 2020, and received by your county elections office no later than November 20, 2020."
