Always depends on the description. Some bets used CNN as their conclusion website, so even if Trump still wins, people who used that bet lost.
The bets I bought use the information provided by the Department of State in those States.
Or the inauguration on January 20th. So if Trump wins but somehow dies before inauguration, I lose my money too.
I don't think it's possible for them to keep the money. It's always either a win or a lose.
