The US held an election that would be massively different from any other previous election with rules being created within months of the start of the election. Regardless of who is running, if you plan to create a new type of election (a much more complicated election) then it needs to be audited the first few times it runs.
So, any state that has automatic registration for all drivers license holders, which also grants licenses to illegal aliens must have their electoral college electors nullifed. They are in open Insurrection against the United States govt. Their votes can only count in elections after such time as this problem is rectified.

So was it automatic with the driver license or did they also have to fill out a voter registration?
These states have disenfranchised legal voters. This has been happening in states like CA for years. You should need the same VERIFICATION of citizenship status to vote as you do to receive a US passport.
