You'd better fucking believe I'll be contesting those results once Trump is announced winner. To be paying those bets out to the Biden betters before the election has officially been finalised is as inappropriate as it is financially stupid. Should Trump be announced winner are they going to ask the Biden-ers nicely for their money back?

PredictIT has rules posted that say they can resolve any bet at any time basically and that they aren't liable.
It would be tough to win that case, but the bad publicity would be a HUGE revenue loss. In that case it's unlikely, but possible they'd pay the real winners off.
It all depends on the A + B = C formula. Is the money they'll lose by people not trusting them less than the money they will make later by paying off the bets.
