We are explicitly NOT a democracy, according to our constitution. Having power equally split between a semi-democratic congress, semi-democratic president, and panel of lifetime appointed judges. I did say semi-democratic. I'm really hoping that Trump's SCOTUS picks are the constitutionalist originalists that they claim to be. If so, game over.
