Even better make it open source. Anyone should be able to audit it.

Finding the cheating in the code could take days or weeks and a team of developers meticulously reverse engineering the entire system...
Or you put the developers that wrote the voting software in a room with one angry vet armed with pliers, a box cutter, and a loofah. Close the door and turn off the cameras. Five minutes later you'll have a powerpoint walkthrough of exactly how the software cheats.

If they’ve replaced the code, then a simple recount should yield a different result though, right? So we have to fight for either 1) an audit of the code or 2) a recount with the code unchanged. Either way it should end up with Trump winning

I was part of the voting machine outcry 15 years ago, Bev Harris was really chasing after it with her non-profit called Black Box Voting. Everything is so slippery with the machines and the vendors, hard to get any answers let alone source code.
It is so much worse than most Pedes know. Maybe it will go different with Trump, I hope so but they have been doing this fraud for years.

All software our government produces should be open source. We paid for it after all. Second it will allow the citizens to verify the code. Make all government code open source.

What ever was done is not in the code anymore bro. The only thing we could possibly do is data analysis and hand recounts, or new elections where results seem very implausible.
You don’t understand. The code they provide to be audited won’t be the same code used these key districts.
That’s why this is going to be very hard to prove.
Those machines were in those specific areas so they could do exactly what they did and what they are doing. And if we question it, they will cry racism.
Not just the machines, they also need to audit the systems they interface with and the version control history if the softwares.
They pushed software updates the night before the election. Gee, I wonder why. These machines were connected to the network. That should immediately invalidate them.

You’re assuming that the software doesn’t have features which allow temporary alterations.
All they had to do was manipulate the machines Dor a couple of hours with variable inputs that aren’t saved. Then change them back once votes were switched.

I read they were running from code on a flash drive. If those flash drives are trashed there will be no evidence. Just hope they will be able to dig up a flash drive still intact.

Gambling machines go through STRICT code review and change controls monitored and approved by government. Do we really have no such controls on Voting machine code? If so, that is waaaay insane.
