Newbie here--learning a whole new language

Been on a few days just reading. Glad I found the site. Lots of great information here and great patriots. Don't know some of the language had to look up 5 different words/expressions already, but am learning. 5 new words today.

I see a lot of it is gaming slang, and I'm not a gamer (well, I spent many hours in Zork).
