Not sure what the 'community' is doing up there. I can't imagine you are as free to share your thoughts and ideas as other places though. I've always been allergic to big cities, and greatly enjoy true communities. I know New York has it all - big cities, small cities, country. I hear the way Trump talks about it in its hay day, and can only imagine what the 'connection' scene was all about. Keep your eye on the future, come up with a game plan, execute it and make it happen Pede!
I live in a place that voted red and I've been seeing more people say 'fuck it' and fly their Trump flags. But it's still hard to feel out who is against this stuff and who isn't. Chances are you'll hear someone talk about it like its a good thing or a "well the numbers are going up so I understand" bullshit. And you are left to guess on the people who keep their mouths shut.
The eventual plan is to leave. Although Ideally I'd love to see New York rise above this shit and be as great as it once was.
