We don't have until Jan 20th. We have until Dec 14th.

That's when the electors vote and it will be finalized whether its Trump or Biden.

How can the electors vote if nothing is certified?

Or congress (house) can grand stand and Pelosi would take charge. They have an out people keep skimming over, their is nothing the republicans or scotus can do to stop that either.

Pelosi will no be speaker on the 20th, with the additional gained seats and returning Dems who voted against her she will not be speaker on Jan 20.

Congress will have selected the new speaker the week of Jan 5.

Our forefathers set up the system very well, the start of the Congressional session is before the swearing in of the new President for a reason.

They will go off the current counts, unless Trump can get the illegal ballots thrown out via the courts or recounts before then.

For example, if electors voted today it would go to Biden.

Even with no official state certifications in place, besides Vermont?

Spez: I guess Biden would win 3-0 if that happened

No, the magic number of 270 is set in the Constitution, if Biden only had 3 certified electors and Trump had none then the next provision of selection kicks in, the House votes, 1 vote for each state. Each Congressman casts a vote, the winner of the result of each states representative then gets the state electoral vote.

For instance, my state Colorado has 7 congressmen/women they all vote, if they do based on party lines then the vote will be 4-3 in favor of Biden and 1 electoral vote goes to Biden.

If all state congress-critters vote on party lines Trump will win 27-23 state electoral votes.

Our forefathers made sure that the electoral college could not be swayed by large metropolis, either by popular vote or congressional vote.

What happens after the electors vote on Dec 14th that leaves a window open to change it?

Does this mean that it could be possible the electors vote for Biden, but SCOTUS decides something between Dec 14th and Jan 6th that could change it?

No, if SCOTUS does not step in by Dec 14 it will be up to the states. Electors are certified by states legislature. If the republican controlled state legislatures in the contested states understand their Constitutional duty they will select Trump electors regardless of the 'vote count' and Trump will be certified by 270+ electors. If the states cannot get their certification done by the 5th the next provision kicks in and Congress votes for President, 1 vote per state, Trump wins 27-23 if votes are along party lines. Trump has several paths to victory, starting with State courts, then SCOTUS, then state legislatures, then Congress. Biden has only one, the rigged results.

Hold the line.

Relying on the states to select Trump electors regardless of the count seems risky. Still lots of RINOs and deep state'ers out there. Or some that might just be scared of the backlash of going against the media narrative. That's the problem, Dems always move in lockstep but Republicans don't, and there's lots of backstabbers out there.
