Is forced irony still irony?

Not if you're Alanis Morissette.

6
rahsputin 6 points ago +7 / -1

is there anything more Ironic than writing a song called 'Ironic' that has nothing Ironic in it?

Maybe she was just trolling ahead of her time, just like RAY-E-AINNNNNNNNNNNNN, ON YOUR WEDDING DAY.

Fuck how quickly that all comes back to being stuck in your head D:

I don't know why you got downvoted. I guess someone got some good advice that they just didn't take.

It was probably Dave Coulier, he's still angry about it all.

Edit: haha fuck I didn't notice that work in on the end of your sentence, nice, who would have thought it would have figured, hey?

Fuck outta here with your spam.

btw, if you see anybody posting with a handshake icon by their name, that means they are new. If they post a link, you can hover your mouse over it to preview where it goes (usually displayed at the bottom of your browser window). Any Disqus links are this same garbage spam.

We protected the fucking banking cartels that seek to enslave everyone in WW2.

That’s what fucking happened there.

32
Badgertime33 32 points ago +33 / -1

It really was one war because The Great War never truly ended. The 20th Century is a history of the horrors brought on by a global banking cartel.

LET'S FINISH THIS

8
PurestEvil 8 points ago +8 / -0

Not just that. It's also Marxism/Socialism taking root in the mind of people. It's convenient to those in power, who primarily live off of tax payer money and power, to enable an ideology which is also based on theft and the reduction of property rights by empowering the government against its own people.

The world culture war is truly about Individualism vs Collectivism, and Individualism was always the underdog, although it had a great surge with the Industrial Revolution and more Free Market Capitalism. As long as people are willing to compromise with Collectivists, we will have all sorts of corruption and exploitation in society.

Banks side with Collectivist forces. And government power is inherently collectivistic. They rely on each other, especially the central banking systems.

Darkheartisland 6 points ago +6 / -0

If you know your history ww1 was sorta caused by the seven years war, and that war was caused by a myriad of forgotten wars in the middle ages. Everything has a cause and effect. That's why history is so interesting.

Second this. Rand Paul is fantastic, and I think as a result, the 2024 field should be really competitive.

12
UpTrump 12 points ago +12 / -0

Don't focus on 2024 right now. If we lose this current battle, no republican is winning again

2
Bobb 2 points ago +2 / -0

Rand’s a great senator but he’ll be a lousy president for these times. You need someone who gives 0 fucks.

19
AnointedVisions 19 points ago +20 / -1

Same. I'm a Paul guy who just voted Trump and I'm ready for Rand to make a run next

15
Donnybiceps 15 points ago +16 / -1

Rand is gonna get annointed by Trump, just watch. Rand has been a speaker at Trumps rallys and he has been instrumental in policy making which doesn't hit news, just watch Rands speech at the RNC this year. Also Rand has played golf with Trump the most since Trump has been in office. Rand was also next to Sydney Powell in an interview about something, can't remember what it was about. Trump sent Rand to Iran for peace negotiations and Trump sent Rand to Russia to deliver some mail. Rand 2024.

14
Rokaroo 14 points ago +15 / -1

Don't forget during the 2016 GOP primaries while they were battling (in good sport) Trump turned to Rand, on stage, and said, "I liked your Dad." Trump knows where the energy in his base comes from, and it's us End the Fed'ers.

I like Rand's ideas, but I'm not convinced that he has the political fighting ability to deal with the DC politics.

He's idealistic without the ability to affect the change that he wants.

Trump doesn’t always pull out, but when he pulls out, that’s all folks.

7
HeavyHebrew 7 points ago +7 / -0

MacArthur, quite possibly the most influential general to have ever existed since Washington, tried to play against a President who wasn't even that popular.

And he lost his ass over it. Ran straight out of the service and forgotten about, even if he was right about nuking those goddamn commie bastards back into the stone age

2
jomten 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sam Kinnison is one of those guys you know just by the way he yells.

7
Fenrir24 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yeah its kind of hard to take the "unlawful order" approach when the order is...not to kill people in a foreign country.

6
massivehairycleaner 6 points ago +6 / -0

"Trump's gonna start WW3!!!"

Negotiates peace deals. Pulls out of middle east wars. Starts no new wars.

I found it hilarious when lefties started complaining about Trump not being hawkish enough for them.

4
MostlyPeacefulMurder 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is why military leaders want Biden, they love war as it gives the lower ranking soldiers experience.

1
Barthaneous 1 point ago +1 / -0

I dont understand, you can just work with other governments and ask them if they need help with cartels and gang members and send in small amounts of troops and let them get their kicks and clean up terrorists and drug kingpins all at the same time. Yet they just want to destroy nations. They shall hang for treason.

2

Trump ought to pull 100% of troops from overseas so biden has to send them all back if he steals the election (he won't).

2
RedditModsAreFaggots 2 points ago +2 / -0

I really wanted Rand to be Trump's running mate. He and his father are two of my favorite people in the world, besides Trump.

2
Siteless_Vagrant 2 points ago +4 / -2

General's that "clash" get "resigned".

2
Frumplmeist311 2 points ago +2 / -0

Chain of Command.... that’s all. We need to pull out of Afghanistan. Those people are not our enemy. I learned that when I was there. The people we got in fights with were farmers and poor people. The Taliban is still a myth to me. I am sure they are they are the people supplying the rockets and IEDs. One person I will never forget.. When was searching my confirmed kill he has a busted up picture of his family in his pocket. I still can’t get past this. We aren’t making a difference in Afghanistan. The real fight is coming. Airstrike the shit out of ISIS but come home. People fighting Trumps withdrawal is in it for power and money.
