I was an election judge in Will County IL on election day. We had 398 voters in my precinct. In Will County, the ballot counters are not on line, they have a usb chip in them that records the tabulation. So the ballot counter has to be escorted by one Democrat and one Republican election judge to the county building and turned in. The polls were open from 6am - 7pm. When polls closed it took us until 9pm to clean up and certify the votes. I personally loaded the ballot counter into the van to be driven back to the county building. However, I was not the Republican judge selected to escort the ballot counter back to the county building.
As I said above, Trump and Cullen won in my precinct by 61%. There were all walks of life in my precinct black, hispanic, white, young and old. We had at least ten same day registrations. Frankly, living in IL I was totally surprised when I saw the tape tally that Trump had 235 - 149. I arrived home around 9:30pm so there was not way that all the precincts in Will county could have been returned to the county building. When I looked at the results on line, Will county was already blue for Biden and Durbin. How is that even possible???
Were the ballots saved, with such a low number it would be easy to recount and prove.
They were returned with the ballot counter. We had to count them and sign the tally ticket. I forgot to mention. Lauren Stalen Ferry was said to deny any poll watchers from getting a certificate. I did not see any poll watchers in my precinct as they have to sign in and surrender their poll watcher certificate for the duration at the poll. They get it returned to them when they leave the precinct. This should be investigated. She is a Democrat go figure.
