Basically books that are pro-Columbus, pro-founding fathers, and examines slavery in a factual light and doesn't editorialize by making it the root cause of every problem in the country?

If you want to factcheck new fake history books Librivox is a great site full of public domain audio books for free. Most of their stuff is for adults, but I found this after a quick search:

https://librivox.org/young-folks-history-american-revolution-by-everett-t-tomlinson/

And there's probably more where that came from.

SPEZ: Two more:

https://librivox.org/beacon-lights-of-history-volume-11-american-founders-by-john-lord/

https://librivox.org/beacon-lights-of-history-volume-12-american-leaders-by-john-lord/

A key trick is to find an audio player that speeds up the playback, because some of those readers can draaaaaag.
