Yea, the turnout was too much for what they had planned electronically. That is why they stopped counting. They stopped, assessed what they needed to come out on top and went to the mail in and harvested ballots as a stop gap. This is where they got caught.

Pretty sure they were caught either way. In which case, cheat harder would be the tactic to save their asses.

Only real difference being if they can have cheat their way to win, nobody gets in trouble.
