Nah. They convinced themselves that biden was beloved and would have a great turnout. They didn't expect to have to cheat to the extent they did, triggering all the recounts. Consider this, they had the msm for weeks / months saying biden was up 15 or more points. A big blue wave, etc. Didn't happen. They psyched themselves and then had to dash to create the votes to put him over the top.
I agree and disagree. :D They definitely inflated the numbers, but they have an uncanny ability to use circular reasoning and BS themselves to no end. The cognitive dissonance on that side is astounding. They make up the numbers, then report them long enough and often enough that even they begin believing them. They refuse to believe that not everyone (virtually) agrees with them. So they convince themselves their going to win but not really, so they better be ready with the ballots. Except they need way more than they originally projected based on their initial fake numbers and their initial naive belief in them. It's confusing. The mind of a democrat is a mysterious thing.

I'd have to disagree. The DNC knew that the polls were fake. It was to suppress in person votes.
