I don't think this happened since Shiva's analysis shows that full party vote selections were the base and the individual candidate selection is what got screwy (those that selected the Republican option being the base and those that selected Trump and other candidates down ticket individually being off).
HOWEVER, that being an option on the voting machines inherently causes problems and is serious justification for them to be scrutinized for other flaws, vulnerabilities, tampering, and manipulation.
