The few that MAY be a threat were just thugs looking for easy pickings because they knew that the police weren't there. If anything REAL happens, the thugs aren't going to come out. They've seen what we look like when we show out and show restraint, they don't want to see what we'll do when we're really looking to do work. It'll just be the chicks that think they're men(till they get decked) and the milkshake throwers.
I was at the Michigan capital's stop the steal protest on Saturday and Sunday last weekend. Saturday there were thousands and thousand of protesters and Trump supporters. I talked to quite a few people who did not vote for Trump but were quite upset about the voter fraud. BLM and antifa was there too. Saturday they were so out numbered they stayed far away and heckled people as they were walking in. On Sunday however, they were standing as a group of about 6 on the steps of the capital with another 6 or so dispersed through the crowd. They were banging drums and playing music on a loud speaker right in the middle of our gathering.
A few notable things from the weekend. We out number them 100 to 1. They are not stable mentally. One guy started screaming at me while I was walking up. Screaming at the top of his lungs with a face mask on. I could hardly make out what he was saying, something about he would not allow us to steal the election, ect. But to try and act intimatedating behind a face diaper? He did eventually take it off and continue to scream, but mentally not stable.
The other experience I had was on the steps. A patriot had asked me to step up in front of the counter protesters and block them from sight with the flag I had. I could not help but think as a walked up there that if they were to annoy us, I would annoy them by standing as close as I could. Which I did, inches in front of one of them. Oh did they get pissed. "Excuse me, but you are standing to close we were trying to have a conversation.“ To which I replied "We are too, but you are banging drums and playing loud music." Then they tried to inch away, but I inched too. Then more patriots surrounded them. Then an enforcer bumped me in the back and tapped my shoulder. I started screaming assault at the top of my lungs and holy shit, cameras from everywhere, the guy backed way up and put his hands up, patriots from every angle making sure I'm okay, and the fake news media with their camera trained behind me, a foot a way from me, for five minutes after the counter protesters backed off. I turned to him, smiled and said, "you are fake news"
and he walked away. It was glorious.
So what was the lesson. They are dumb, mentally unstable, and definitely capable of hurting people when they think they can get away with it. Give them their own medicine, mock them, ridicule them, and record them. Do not be violent, do not feed into their hate. Smile, it's what they hate most.
Along the lines of "can't feed and cloth themselves," maybe we need to counter with some instructions to parents and grandparents: (1) where to go for tech help if your kids sabotage your tech, (2) how to evict your grown children from your basement, (3) how to turn your grown kids into the authorities, (4) how to remove your grown children from your will. Anything else to add?
(5) lawyers who will sue for grandparents' rights
(6) how to report welfare and public assistance fraud
(7) how to stop any dispersal of funds from loans to colleges/universities
(8) how to report your child for domestic terrorism
(9) how to file a restraining order and, eventually, custody of any kids belonging to criminal family members for endangerment and/or contributing to delinquency of a minor
(10) a checklist of how adult children are financially dependent on parents (i.e. what to check to make sure kids are totally cut off)
(11) simple guide to changing wifi passwords
(12) guide to having locks changed and where to find cheap security measures
How to check your adult man child's computer for child pornography and how to notify authorities. Make sure to mention that they themselves could be criminally liable for that shit if they allow it to be disseminated through their home network or stored on devices in their home.
