I'm in Virginia and was in line to vote on Election Day at 5:30 AM. Our "scanner" had a "problem" at 6:15 just after the first few votes had been cast.
Not to mention those tablet based systems are built from off the shelf hardware, most of the time running a modified version of Android. Almost all that hardware is manufactured in China.
If I were unable to write, I would bring a trusted friend or family member to write for me. I'd really sooner trust someone off of my street than one of their machines!
