Since I`m German there is nothing more I can do than to pray for President Trump and the United States. Trump is the leader of the free world therefore he is my president as well. KEEP FIGHTING!!

The Germans are losing sovereignty towards Brussels just like any other EU-nation. Thr EU tells them which laws to adopt and which to dump, the European supreme court claims supremacy over the German one.

It's an old problem with Germany that was brought to thr point by Roosevelt (I think): "Germany is too big for Europe, but too small for the world."

Because of it's size, population and economic power, they have no choice but to pay a central role in the EU.

Germany has become the center of globalism. Before Trump, that role was with the States.

Don't lie to me. I saw Merkel throw the German flag in the trash at her election victory. The whole world saw it. Germany has been playing the game of being a good "european partner" as long as it benefits Europe. If the EU were not playing along with Germany, they would have slapped Germany with sanctions the moment their debt outpaced their GDP as per the rules of the EU. That happened back in the late 1990's.

Oh no it wasn't with the states. It was the EU that got involved picking sides in the breakup of Yugoslavia. It was the European nations that put the Olympics in Sarajevo and then pushed and pushed at Slobodan Milosovic and encouraged the rebellion of Croates, Bosnians and Serbs because they didn't like Milosovic. That was the first time the European community of nations decided to oust by force a man they didn't like. The U.S. was a johnny come lately to that and was not in the leadership role. Heck, even if we go back to the first CIA coup/revolution in Iran, it wasn't even the CIA that led that but rather the UK. It was all about protecting British Petroleum. Just as with the Yugoslavia breakup, the European nations were there meddling long before the U.S.
