GA Pedes- make sure you contact your state reps and bring this up! They are trying to take advantage of a loop holes in the current law. Needs to be shut down!
It's not Georgia law. It's a federal law regarding how many days pass after the general for another election, special or not. Normally you have to have been eligible to vote in the general election to vote in the special election, unless too many days pass. then it is wide open again due to the NVRA. https://www.justice.gov/crt/about-national-voter-registration-act
