If we drain the swap, hundreds of thousands of jobs go POOF. Entire careers go POOF. Pensions and in-roads to contract money making in the futures go POOF. People who did illegal things in banal ways may end up in PRISON...
It'd be a lot easier to just get Trump out and go back to the way things were. Fox News was the vanguard for that crusade on election day. "If we can just pace and lead these Trumpers back to the GOP, all will be well."

No, the electoral college delegates are ultimately selected by the states. If some state legislatures can't/won't send delegates and nobody gets to 270, then the vote would go to the house with each state getting one vote
