Doesn't matter – it proves the concept. This ballot doesn't look OCR'ed so the text is likely coming from the program.

Yes it validates the theory. This could be all over I haven’t checked any other ballots yet.

Seems pretty far fetched that this would be an isolated mistake exactly as described that it could happen

3
ClarenceBeeks [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

Also they could have used the inverse technique where they only counted ii

3
UnwaveringDefiance 3 points ago +3 / -0

If this case had a “vote all repubiican” option and someone clicked that, Trump, being a “republican” would be excluded from the tally

1
ClarenceBeeks [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

Correct. It’s devious.

2
ClarenceBeeks [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

Ok but this is just one ballot. Technique can be used anywhere to sway elections as the ballot creator sees fit

Where at I missed it

1
ClarenceBeeks [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

You can’t read with eyes until copy paste into notepad. It’s f’ing weird

2
DONTRUMP4THEWIN 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wtf

ClarenceBeeks [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

I guess you can do a search for ii on the ballot and find it too but I haven't tried

This is what you see when it is pasted into a notepad:

STEPHANIEK. FATTMAN ^^...^^Repubiican

lasTRUMPcard 4 points ago +5 / -1

Search for "repubiican" in the pdf and see for yourself. Ron was right.

Idk if this means anything. But trump said this October 2nd, 2020 on Twitter: Going welI, I think! Thank you to all. LOVE!!! https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1312233807991496704?s=19 When you look at "welI" you can see that the I is capitalized into an L. You guys think it's a clue for knowledge of these ballots early October? Or just a common typo?

3
TrumpDynastyForever 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fucking time traveler

2
ClarenceBeeks [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

It's an awfully strange typo to make. If he really knew and really did this then he's the greatest troll who ever lived

2
chlofefe 2 points ago +2 / -0

there's no way to make a typo like that on accident...

3
ClarenceBeeks [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

Ran across on Twitter. https://twitter.com/wetheinevitable/status/1326947648289509377?s=21

I just pasted the text copied directly from the ballot on a notepad and verified it. This is what that guy analyzing the Dominion software said could happen.

I’m mobile right now so the formatting is hard to decipher. It’s not sitting right next to Trump but it’s clearly there for some damn reason

I've looked at a few other places and not found any others. But who knows if the sample ballots online match the real ones. The point is that this exact "mistake" is invisible to voters but not to Dominion. And there is a feature setup to exploit it.

Here, this explains how Dominion would use this "typo" to filter https://twitter.com/CodeMonkeyZ/status/1326424329194762247

3
ClarenceBeeks [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

You have to download the ballot then copy paste into a notepad to see it

Did you see it that way too? I’m on mobile right now hard to work with

The archive link for when they nuke this

2
cashmunny 2 points ago +2 / -0

So they used a capital "i" rather than a lowercase "L" in the word "RepubIican". Seems shady. Not sure if this would affect anything though. Maybe when the republican ballots are counted, the misspelling would cause an error?

Yes Dominion can be configured this way. I’ll find the reference to the manual

No it’s there. Copy the text from the ballot itself then paste in a notepad. It’s there

Fake

1
ClarenceBeeks [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

Do it yourself, you'll see this: STEPHANIEK. FATTMAN ^^...^^Repubiican

Here is how Dominion can use this to filter results: https://twitter.com/CodeMonkeyZ/status/1326424329194762247

This could be on election day ballots and nobody would know

Bullshit, do it yourself

3
lasTRUMPcard 3 points ago +3 / -0

You're right. I stand corrected. Wow.

2
ClarenceBeeks [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

Thank you. Spread the word. We need to check more ballots to know if this is some one-off issue or not

SUMMARY This proposed law would require that motor vehicle owners and independent repair facilities be provided with expanded access to mechanical data related to vehicle maintenance and repair. Startingwithmodelyear2022,the proposed lawwould require manufacturers of motor vehicles sold in Massachusetts to equip — any such vehicles that use telematics systems systems that collect and wirelessly transmit mechanical data to a remote server—with a standardized open access data platform. Owners of motor vehicles with telematics systems would get access to mechanical data through a mobile device application. With vehicle owner authorization, independent repair facilities (those not affiliated with a manufacturer) and independent dealerships would be able to retrieve mechanical data from, and send commands to, the vehicle for repair, maintenance, and diagnostictesting. Underthe proposed law, manufacturers would not be aliowed to require authorization before owners or repair facilities could access mechanical data stored in a motor vehicle's on-board diagnostic system, except through an authorization process standardized across all makes and models and administered by an entity unaffiliated with the manufacturer. The proposed law would require the Attorney General to prepare a notice for prospective motor vehicle owners and lessees explaining telematics systems and the proposed law's requirements concerning access to the vehicle's mechanical data. Underthe proposed law, dealers would have to provide prospective owners with, and prospective owners would have to acknowledge receipt of, the notice before buying or leasing a vehicle. Failure to comply with these notice requirements would subject motor vehicle dealers to sanctions by the applicable licensing authority. Motor vehicle owners and independent repair facilities could enforce this law through state consumer protection laws and recover civil penalties of the greater of trebte damages or $10,000 perviolation.

1 YES VOTE would provide motorvehicle owners and independent repair facilities with expanded access to wirelessly transmitted mechanical data related to their vehicles' maintenance and repair. A N0 VOTE would make no change in the law governing access to vehicles' wirelessly transmitted mechanical data. YES CONTINUE ON BACK

Dominion software has a feature for filtering in text strings. A machine can be setup to count or not count a result spelled wrong. This particular spelling error can not be seen on the ballot itself. So you can select Trump and it will not count the vote.

0
ClarenceBeeks [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

In this case the ii mispelling is on a different candidate. But every ballot in every county is unique. We need to check swing states

1
OneBigMaga 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm not sure about this. It's only one person and the rest are fine. Is this even a real ballot? It is a great reason for NEVER using computers to count ballots.

0
ClarenceBeeks [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

Agree but the Dominion software would be able to filter for either Republican or Repubiican. I was told that the one person with the error was the 1 Republican to win a race on the ballot, verifying this. If so then they counted her total but filtered OUT Republican votes

Here’s the link to the ballot. It’s matches the government website, I just checked to see if I was getting trolled. Website seems to check out. Real error in real ballot.

I never said it proved anything. It just matches a theory proposed by the guy deep diving the Dominion maching.

From the manual: "With the Party Preference contest, the voter selects their preferred party, and any contests which do not belong to the same Elector Group are ignored when the ballot is cast." The entry and/or bubble wouldn't be part of the Republican group anymore.

Doing it inside the code is probably a better solution. But it also means you have to pass quality standards. Altering the input ballot format is more sly. And the end user never gets a digital copy of the ballot. They only trust what they see.
