I would find a metro parking garage and park there. When you said you were driving down I assume you mean from north, most likely you will hit I270 before the beltway, if that's the case I would try Shady Grove Metro. There is a large parking garage there and is free to park on weekends. You would then take the metro to Metro Center.
If coming from the south via I95, then I would park at Franconia/Springfield Metro. Another large parking lot and you can take the blue line to Federal Triangle.
Thank you very much for this info! I am indeed driving down from north (New Jersey), so I guess I will take I270? At any rate I will keep in mind the things you said and check the map. Can't wait to stand with thousands and thousands of patriots in support of our President and our country!
No problem. The metro is super easy. The only tricky part is resurfacing from the metro. There are usually multiple exits. I'll take a look and see if I can tell how Metro Center is.
If you're taking I-95 south, you'll hit 495 and go towards Bethesda/Rockville and get off on 270. If you keep going north on 270 you'll see signs for Shady Grove metro station
I'd say metro in if you can. Parking sucks in DC and it's expensive. You're probably on the orange/silver line so just take that in the direction of New Carrolton/Largo to get into the city.
I’d say put it in a garage just to be safe. I’m not a local nor know a lot about the area but I’ve read a few stories about break ins and robberies there.
Yes, I used to live in the city and car break-ins are fairly frequent. They smashed my windows in for a handful of change, so don't leave literally anything of value inside
Glorious I’m packing up now!
I plan to drive down and I need to know...please if any pedes know where can I park my car?

Stop in freehold and pick me up
This is what's needed now. Thank you for posting this!
If I’m staying at the DoubleTree in Arlington, what would be the best way to get to the rally?

https://www.wmata.com/schedules/maps/upload/2019-System-Map.pdf ^ here's a map you can use. The WMATA site also has a trip planner that tells you when to leave and what lines to take

Will you be coming via 270?
My friend and I are driving in from North Carolina. Eight hour ride for freedom!
