I went to the post office to complain and had the employee laugh in my face when I said it was a federal crime to steal stuff out of my mail. I talked to the manager of the post office who promised that employee would be reprimanded, they weren't. I filed a police report (they said they couldn't do anything) and the manager gave me contact information to go up the ladder inside the post office. I was continually passed off to person after person. Eventually, I ended up at what they claimed was the top of their investigations department. I was told there were two divisions. A detective in each division told me it was the other division's jurisdiction and nothing was done.

This is the difference between us and them. They will do anything to win - lie, cheat, steal, commit felonies, murder... What do we do? We campaign, we get the message out, we show up to the polls, etc. We believe candidates should stand on merit. They believe the ends justify the means.

I had my Trump Campaign mail opened and stuff stolen from them multiple times. I went to the post office to complain and had the employee laugh in my face when I said it was a federal crime to steal stuff out of my mail. I talked to the manager of the post office who promised that employee would be reprimanded, they weren't. I filed a police report (they said they couldn't do anything) and the manager gave me contact information to go up the ladder inside the post office. I was continually passed off to person after person. Eventually, I ended up at what they claimed was the top of their investigations department. I was told there were two divisions. A detective in each division told me it was the other division's jurisdiction and nothing was done.
The USPS should be abolished. It's a fucking sham.

This isn't ballots, this is flyers, advertisements, donation requests, NRA newsletters, that sort of thing.
This post is about mail from the candidates' parties, not voting.
However with ballots, one way is to look at a code on the envelope. It may say what party the voter registered under. (depends on the state)
The other way is to just go by district. Some neighborhoods are overwhelmingly going to go for Trump, others for Biden.
I wouldn't be surprised if USPS outright stole bags of ballots, opened and resealed them. The counters weren't being observed properly so we wouldn't know. A person who is in favor of mail-in voting and participated in the counting said sometimes they would get a ballot that wasn't sealed properly, and they still count them.

I know in our state registered republicans and democrats had a different beginning to one of the barcode numbers that was standard - depending on party. Makes you wonder why would they need to have done that? (we all already know the answer)

It's not unusual, since the federal government is self-interested, just like anyone. That's why communism is doomed to failure: the government itself is the least altruistic entity of all since it always wants to come first. Those who work for the government naturally want to have more of it.
