However with ballots, one way is to look at a code on the envelope. It may say what party the voter registered under. (depends on the state)
The other way is to just go by district. Some neighborhoods are overwhelmingly going to go for Trump, others for Biden.
I wouldn't be surprised if USPS outright stole bags of ballots, opened and resealed them. The counters weren't being observed properly so we wouldn't know. A person who is in favor of mail-in voting and participated in the counting said sometimes they would get a ballot that wasn't sealed properly, and they still count them.
I know in our state registered republicans and democrats had a different beginning to one of the barcode numbers that was standard - depending on party. Makes you wonder why would they need to have done that? (we all already know the answer)
