well... for starters, tell him that he should be willing to bet on who will be the president on january 21. He seems very confident, so you might be able to get odds.

Also, as a fun aside, add a perk where you get to lecture him uninterupted if you are right, for half an hour, and if by chance you are wrong, the same would be fair in reverse...
