Next week the counts in most states will end. Then the court cases will determine which votes are cast aside before a recount. Then a recount. It's going to take 5 weeks.
That's the point, they can't certify or cast votes if there's still counting. That would give the Republican legislature a great excuse to either not cast EV or even go Trump (the latter would be daring, though). In the meantime, the Biden team would try all they can to have counting stopped and Biden certified, of course. But if we could drag it out until December 14th, that would be a major win.
