After this, the agency responsible for deciding whether it's enviormentally reasonable to mine there switched from "yes" to "no". I don't think a Trump victory will ensure the mine opening.

TBH I'm not a fan of it either. Trump's weak enviormental protection is one of the very few things I don't like about his policies.
And I doubt that the stock would give a bigger return than the bets, tbh.
