Awkward? Nobody knows what to do or say. The lefties aren't celebrating, they're mostly grumbling under their breath to each other in small groups and looking over their shoulders when people approach.

Nobody seems to know for sure what's going on, but it's clear that the news media has lost control of the narrative on both sides.
The left doesn't really believe they've won, and the right doesn't really believe they've lost, and both sides are waiting for confirmation that can't be ignored.
I’d also really like to know. I’m in a medium/large city with a lot of rural areas nearby but there such a cultural divide that I rarely get to connect with my country pedes.
