I thought she already had the Vice-Presidency in the bag. Any thoughts?

Great question! Barack Obama resigned his Senate seat 9 days after his 2008 victory. I wonder what's taking so long....

Fox News has been told for months that California Secretary of State Alex Padilla is the odds-on favorite to step into Harris’ seat. But Fox News is also told to watch California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, Rep. Karen Bass, Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis, Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia and Rep. Katie Porter.

California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom picks Harris’ Senate successor. And Fox News has been told that it’s not out of the question for Newsom to appoint himself.

By the way, what does precedent tell us? When does this usually happen, when applicable?

Captain Kenya left the Senate 8 days after the 2008 election for comparison.

From what I understood after looking it up. Saint Obama left his seat early but that's the only one I could find who left before the EC decided. I may be overlooking something though, this isn't easy to look up.

Good question. Still, asking the original question will screw with Leftards and create some doubt in their minds.

She’s the head of the Office of the Vice-President elect.

And gives head too.

Dunno. Must be an oversight. Someone get on twitter and remind her.

I won't be surprised if she feels she is entitled to both senate seat and VP
