The October laptop releases were not an attempt to disgust and sway the American public (Trump's team knew the media would ignore it). The laptop releases were just enough to prove to Hunter they had all the TRUE information regarding the Biden Family's involvement with the Chinese. They couldn’t contact Hunter privately as the Democrats and Chinese had an open link to all his communications, travel, bank accounts, etc.; Hunter had no avenue to communicate without the Democrats and Chinese knowing.
The public release was to bring Hunter to the table voluntarily. Remember the debunked Hunter overdose? How else do you get Hunter away without anybody really asking questions? He has been in "rehab."
He is on drugs. He is compromised. He’s tired of being the bad guy of the family while providing them with their opulent lifestyles. He has a chip on his shoulder and he’s a narcissist...perfectly ripe for turning against his masters in a desperate attempt at self-preservation and will probably view himself as a hero/martyr.
