I think he helped cover the news and break in from a random, outside place. I didn't understand the hype people here gave Tim Pool. Back during the 2016 elections he was a tool, too.
From what I read in the past few months:
Tim "used to be" a leftie, so he had still some appeal to that crowd, and could red pill them.
If you dig into his views he mentions in his shows, he was more about being afraid of the crazy left and not really about backing the conservative cause. I'd associate him most closely with the "Yang gang"; still for redistribution of wealth, but less militant about it.
This is my deal. I feel like people here started listening to Tim only leading up to this election, and now are broke up about it because he isn't committed to backing Trump and pushing back hard on fraud.
That isn't Tim though. So my guess is people developed expectations that aren't possible, and now feel rejected, even though Tim hasn't done anything inconsistent with himself.
