I remember taking links off the original Drudge Report going to Newsmax. I always wondered about the generic name and lack of any memorable branding but the articles were always fair and uncucked.
This was me in the 90s during the Clinton mess and later during the run up to the Shrub Iraq invasion. I don't think they had video then but I definitely went to their website regularly. Newsmax, Lucianne, Freep, Frontpage, and blogs like Insty and AOSHQ were all part of my daily routine.
They've been around for years. For now Newsmax is more pro-Trump than pro-Biden, so enjoy it while it lasts, for however long it lasts. This site and OANN are reliable platforms. All the other sites are somewhat fluid. Once Newsmax has gobbled up more of Fox's viewership, they'll probably change.
Chris Ruddy (Co-Founder & CEO) Is in the wikileaks vaults. He praises Killary, stating that "She'd make a wonderful president" and also gave 1 million dollars to Clinton Global Initiative.
Better options IMO are
• The First (Buck Sexton, Dana Loesch, Jesse Kelly, Bill O'Reilly)
• America's Voice News (Steve Bannon, Raheem Kassam)
• OAN (Jack Posobiec - Naval Intelligence)
Not until they ditch the dreadful Dan Ball. He reminds me of Geraldo Rivera, only with half the IQ points and a tenth of the actual knowledge.
I've been a big fan of OAN, but that guy is trash, and absolutely destroyed OAN's election night coverage. I finally gave up hope of hearing Jennifer Franco, Alex Salvi, and Greta Wall delliver any serious commentary. When Ball let them get a word in edgewise, they were mostly just trying to gently point out that whatever he'd just said didn't hold water, because it didn't. I headed over to Newsmax and haven't looked at OAN since. I'll be back when he's gone.
Man I wouldn’t mind some Bill OReilly in these times. I always found him to be pretty damn fair and balanced. Even when I found myself annoyed at him sometimes, it was just because he wasn’t leaning into my bias. Problem is I think you gotta pay to watch his show now and I’m not paying.
I’d also love to hear Charles Krauthammer’s opinions on the last couple years had he not passed away. He was a pretty reasonable person
I remember going to the Newsmax website way back during the Bush vs Gore days. I think that they were based in Florida and had a lot of the breaking Florida recount news.

They've been around a while. Always a small player. Legit though.

I dont know who that guy is but ill look into it.
He has a nightly opinion show, basically replaced Graham Ledger. His employment and personal history are concerning.
