I'm kind of with you on this. If the problems with these voting machines have been known for as long as this, why haven't there been any previous lawsuits/legal actions/legislative actions been taken to straighten this out?
Right now I'm not seeing any smoking gun pointing out actual proof (as in, the code from the machines and the corresponding algorithms, etc) that show this was actually done for this election.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I just find it incredulous that if there was this much vulnerability in these voting systems, multiple jurisdictions/districts/states decided to use them anyway.
This kind of programming oversights and/or willful insertion of malicious code has been common place since programs have been written.
The only difference these days is that software LOOKS like it high quality when in reality the code is probably hanging on by a thread. Think of how many decades Windows has been around and look at how many flaws it has - unintentional and intentional.
I think if we could really see the source code for all the biggest software programs we'd be surprised they even run. A lot of code development is outsourced off shore.
Food for thought - Can you even trust software you write yourself? You have to trust the compiler not to insert something without your knowledge. 🤔
