It may seem spiteful but I live in Erie, PA and I am pretty sure me and my family would survive if we didn't get food from other "red" counties. We grow some food on our small plot of land (and sell our extra locally) but what about those folks that think their food magically comes from the back room of the super Walmart?

I will add this point you’re not seeing and take it from me as a former FedEx employee that went through the last 4 years of this season, this is the single heaviest time of the year. All trucks and warehouse workers are already on mandatory 6 day to possibly 7 day work weeks working overtime during those shifts as well and they plan to do this through thanksgiving when the stores get bought out of both food and Black Friday/cyber Monday deals. If there was a time this could work that week would be it, it could very well set the system weeks behind schedule and that’s not even adding the extra load covid has added to the delivery system already.
