I'd get rid of them regardless. With TDS, they will try to sabotage or subvert you. Talk to a lawyer. And maybe offer them a nice buyout package and referral if they go quietly and likewise sign a letter, without duress, that it was a mutual agreement. From my experience, most lawsuits are initiated by liberals.
They work for my family office, so getting rid of them will be easy. There were a few performance issues as well, but what I will tell them is fundamentally the truth.
Of course, they will be well paid to stymie any inclination to sue, but it would be really difficult for them to conjure up something. Believe me, I cover my rear.
