I don't think all cops are bad, I just think most of them won't stand up to the bad ones and do what is right. Which ultimately corrupts whole departments. A lot of people who chose that work do so for the power, not to serve their communities. There are exceptions and some really good cops out there who will stand up to corruption, but they are a minority.

There are ones in there that want to punish only genuine criminals and are just trying to feed their families, but it seems enough of the ones that are left are willing to obey whatever orders they get to keep their jobs - I'm sure the diversity hires the left push like they did in the UK won't help this situation either. It's the standard playbook, replace the honest members of the force with ideologues.
