You’re assuming that all the ballots are good. They’re not all good. You hand count the same illegal ballots. You end up with the same count. And also I heard (though I hope I’m wrong) that this “recount” isn’t a full recount, but instead will only require a count of a “statistically significant number of ballots” to draw a conclusion about the larger , current “count”

Sounds pretty suspect and bs to me.
