Started out in my late-teens considering myself conservative. College tried to brainwash me — easily the most miserable four years of my life. At the time, I couldn’t understand why I was so unhappy when I was supposedly learning to be an “evolved thinker”. Became indifferent to politics as I entered the workforce. Freddie Gray riots in Baltimore under Obummer changed that for me quickly. As I sat there watching people light things on fire and hear Obummer tell everyone to “give them their space,” something snapped in me and I began to question everything.
