According to scripture the only saints that are in heaven are the 10,000 that rose when Jesus Christ did and are going to be coming down from heaven when he returns to judge the earth with Horses.
Everyone else will raise up from the grave on Judgement Day. Thats the entire point of the resurrection, because no one is alive but will be forever in the end. Not right now , they are rifht now all sleeping. Hence the term R. I. P REST IN PEACE.
And people who think the dead are alive are apart of the occult as demons masquerade as our ancestors and thus lead people lile mediums to talk to demonic spirits mot dead people. Thats why God in Moses time made it absolutely clear to kill the witch or medium because they talk to FAMILIAR SPIRITS.

We are Mind, Body and Spirit. Did God stop existing when the flesh was crucified and buried for three days? NO! The same goes for us. We do not end our existence but continue on in either Paradise or Hades, alive in spirit, not in Heaven, until the judgment day. What did Jesus say to the one who repented next to Him on the cross? Luke 23:43 And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise." And no, those are not the same as Purgatory (made up Western heresy).
