Isn't it about time we have a law that prohibits candidates from having financial ties to overseas companies? In China's case, since there really isn't a true free market, all of the companies there have significant oversight (and sometimes ownership) by Beijing.
Just as valid of a question, why are PRC citizens allowed to attend American universities? Back when the Soviet Union was around, we were very cautious about letting Russians, and other Soviet peoples into our country.
