I think you meant "roaster" not "toaster", if you really did it in a TOASTER oven, let me know how!
But yeah the roaster ovens are really something! Tons of other uses too, not just turkey. They make awesome chili and stews, and you can even bake in them (cakes, pies, cookies....)
One of those portable, big-ass plug-in/electric countertop "roaster ovens" (18 or 20 quart, whatever they are, I forget). Makes the best turkey EVAR!

From what I recall it was just a regular toaster oven. A large one, but nothing fancy.
