Dominion ABSORBED Smartmatic and Sequoia Voting Systems, Inc. But that doesn't matter, because they are virtually all the same thing and entity. Sequoia used to be the Diebold Election Systems seen in other patents.

If I had to guess, Dominion is current Canadian for the reason of secrecy, and because it's easier to obscure information in cross-related patents across agencies in the same way news does with itself.

tbh, I wouldn't be shocked if Dominion et al. are federal in origin.
