This! If there is a need for lawyers with more backbone they exist! They also would not miss the opportunity.

It's not bad. Co-counsel is still in, and the campaign apparently has more replacement counsel lined up. It seems they cucked because of the bad press and some of the partners being concerned about how it would affect business for the firm. The key constitutional claims are straightforward, and it's not a document-intensive case, they don't have to review a bunch of earlier deposition transcripts and re-interview people, etc. Getting up to speed should be simple.

They were getting tons of shit in the news and on social media for helping Trump, and it seems like internal pressures at the firm caused them to step down to avoid bad publicity and potential loss of clients mad about them helping Trump.
